Australia Yes ..... and we say Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes again!  

Coming to Australia has been our best move ever and with the help from Active Migration, it has been so easy. 

We lived on a farm in Botswana where we had no electricity and a very simple lifestyle. Our children went to boarding school in Namibia and only came home on weekends. We had to drive 1000km each Friday to collect them and 1000km each Sunday to take them back. Here in Australia they’re going to school on their bicycles coming home everyday. The sport for them is wonderful and they have learnt the "aussie" slang very quickly.

When we first arrived in Australia it was very daunting because of all the drastic changes and the lifestyle but we adapted very quickly. The "aussies" are really friendly and helpful people when it comes to foreigners. We have a wonderful family life now.

Active Migration has made our journey here effortless and has guided us all the way, and even after arriving and settling in are still around and willing to help us.

Hi......I'm Marco and I'm Italian....

I can remember quite easily when I started looking for a change in my life, searching new country, new places where I could live better, where my personality would fit in the environment and I can feel the awareness and peace that I felt as soon I started working with active migration on line. At the age of 40 and with low budget my chances of migrating to Australia looked very poor. A few migration agents refused to help me, but I didn’t t give up. Browsing on internet I found Active Migration and started a contact with Mr Tony Lenko. It took nearly a year to realise my dream and arrange everything needed to migrate. I enrolled to study at Shafston College, achieved overall score of 6.0 at IELTS, and finaly 2 November 2007 my husband and I made the first step to our new life in Brisbane.

Now, after nearly 6 months living in Australia, we are happier than ever. My husband got the fist job he applied for and he is very satisfied with his working environment, colleagues and salary.

I found a lot of new friends from all over the world at college, the study itself is not hard at all if you love cooking and the teachers are doing all to make our study easy and fun. I was worried about my English and studying in foreign language, but I was very surprised how quickly I improved my English during the few months.

I will be able to apply for the permanent visa as soon as I finish my studies at Shafston. As I am one of the best students in my class, this shouldn’t t be a problem at all.

But without Tony, my dear migration agent and a friend, I wouldn’t dare to do that big step into new life. He was encouraging me all the times by giving his advice, information and answers I needed to finally decide to do it – migrate “down under”.

I love Australia, I love the nature, people, food… I enjoy living, working, studying and having fun in this beautiful country and I am going to stay forever.

A while ago, we noticed an article about a company from Australia arranging visas for Australia, Canada and New Zealand. We were excited to start the process as we tried no our own about 10 years ago but without success.

We attended one of the presentations and got the response that we qualify for a SIR visa for Australia. We started seemingly long and hard process, but the things even improved in the meantime and we got the permanent visa for Australia. Waiting was worth it and now everything is perfect.

We are very grateful to our migration agent as he helped our dream come true (we enjoy our new life since 2 January 2008) with his knowledge of migration law and organised approach.

We definitely suggest anyone who plans to migrate to use the assistance of migration agent – there are plenty of options, but without adequate understanding of law the results is questionable.

Australia has always been my dream. This country captured me before I’ve even been down under. When I first travelled Australia I knew I wanted to call it my home.

I love the space, the friendly people, the smiles you get in shops and the vast variety the country has to offer. At most places life is happening outdoors not indoors like in Switzerland and you can enjoy the beach, snow and desert.

One of my main reasons to leave Switzerland is space and weather. Besides overall situation, it’s getting more and more overcrowded in Switzerland with unhappy and stressed people.

Sure, there are some downsides too as no place is perfect, but to me it’s definitely the country I want to live in.

I haven't experienced such attraction for any other country so far. Australia is my chosen destination because of its nature, people, lifestyle options, etc. Before I decided to study in Australia, I compared University post-graduate programs costs and quality in Europe, United States and Australia – Australia had the best on offer. Being a student I will improve my English and plan to gain international work experience in local organisations (I have started even before I left).

Applying for permanent residency before commencing study I now pay domestic student fees instead of international. One of the reasons for me being here is also to become a proud Australian.
